The series is made using generative AI, which lets Micky’s world go almost anywhere—from abandoned city blocks and underground spaces to entirely new locations and situations.

Micky Z is created with generative tools, but the work starts long before generation.
Every video is developed inside a written world with its own history, rules, visual language, character continuity, and tone. Locations are researched and designed. Dialogue is written for Micky rather than around a trend. Camera choices are intentional. Performances are iterated. Shots are rejected when they don’t feel believable, even when they’re technically impressive.
A ten-second Micky video might go through dozens of decisions before it reaches the audience.
Generative AI makes this kind of independent production possible. It doesn’t replace the direction behind it.
